GRACE AMBASSADORS

Stabilized in Christ

The course of the world can be an emotional roller
coaster that produces delusional merriment followed
by free fall bouts of stress and depression.

Sound doctrine provides stability during these
courses teaching us how to be abased and how to
abound (Phil 4:11).

It is the knowledge of the mystery of Christ that gives
an emotional advantage to us who find our strength
in Christ (2 Cor 12:9, Phil 4:13).

Stressful times seem to level out when we consider
the greater value of the glory that shall be revealed
in us through Christ (Rom 8:18). So many of our
stresses are too small to care.

And we know our joy does not come from season’s
greetings, but rather from the knowledge of the treasures
found in Jesus Christ (Col 2:2).

Get off the emotional roller coaster. Put your trust
in the sufficiency of Christ to find true contentment.

For his glory,

Justin Curtis Johnson
