What kind of day would it be for you if by day’s end you had engaged in 2-3 conversations about the gospel, handed out dozens of Bible tracts and books, and all this with complete strangers who walked right up to you!
Sound like a good day of ministry? It does to me.
This described my day every time I helped with our fair ministry this past week. It was the same story with others who worked the booth.
Compared to most days where ministry opportunities are mundane and routine, fairs can kick it up a notch.
At county fairs, the community walks right by your booth and expect to be given free things. We are happy to oblige!
Yes, the days can also be long, hot, and sometimes slow, but so is fishing. [Insert metaphor about fishing for men].
It’s also easy to do. If you have a local fair, market, or community event that allows tables, consider setting one up and giving away free Bible material.
The goal is reached when you’ve had a good day (see above), which does not have to look like someone dropping to repent in sackcloth and ashes.
