It’s that time of year again! The air conditioners are on full blast, our summer booth ministry is in full swing, and we are making plans for our seminar weekend October 18-19th.
We’re glad to announce that our 17th annual Ambassadors Seminar will cover the subject of The Unknown Remnant.
Traditional dispensational Bible study has been described as rightly dividing Israel from the Church, but this leaves the identity of the Biblical Remnant unknown.
It turns out the doctrines surrounding the Remnant are some of the most important teachings in Bible prophecy, yet they remain neglected or unknown by many. Even some dispensationalists fail to mention the key place of the Remnant in God’s unfolding purpose for the ages.
Failing to recognize the Remnant is an unknown root of many struggles people have with dispensationalism generally (and the subject of many questions I receive).
Mid-Acts Pauline dispensational right division clears up the confusion by rightly dividing Israel from the Church but also respecting the prophesied place of the Remnant. Of course, this requires many questions be addressed:
- What and who is the Remnant?
- How does it compare to the Body of Christ?
- How did Paul interact with the Remnant?
- What happened to the Remnant?
- Is there a remnant of Israel today?
- What can we learn from the Remnant?
Is this a trivial issue, or is it a Biblical doctrine and pillar of building with a Pauline foundation? (Being the subject of this year’s seminar gives you a hint of its importance.)
These issues and more will be explored over a full weekend at our Greentown church building during the 2025 Ambassadors Seminar as we work to make known The Unknown Remnant.
