“ For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel”
– Romans 9:6
There is a difference between Israel in the flesh and Israel in the faith.
All born of Israel is in the flesh, but not all born of Israel is in the faith.
Israel in the flesh is the whole nation. Only a small remnant was faithful Israel.
God created Israel in the flesh, but God only promised to bless Israel in the faith.
Most of scripture was directed at Israel in the flesh. Yet, most of scripture is written by the faithful remnant of Israel (Ezra, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, et al).
God frequently judged or destroyed Israel in the flesh, but God always preserved a remnant of Israel in the faith.
Many times in the Bible, Israel in the flesh opposed, persecuted, and killed Israel in the faith.
The promise of salvation and a kingdom on earth was offered to all Israel in the flesh, but will only be received by Israel in the faith.
Jesus came to Israel in the flesh, but he came to identify the smaller nation of Israel in faith.
If you’ve ever had questions about how God keeps his promises to Israel, the benefit to being Israel in the flesh, and whether God is working through the State of Israel today, you will enjoy a weekend of lessons and ample Q&A.
We are just two weeks away from a full weekend describing this important doctrine of the Remnant of Israel.
