Traditional covenant and dispensational theology have been at odds for over a century.
They disagree on whether to read the Bible literally concerning its promises and prophecies.
They disagree about identifying the Church as Israel.
They disagree about future prophecies yet to be fulfilled for the nation Israel.
They disagree on how many years are in a millennium and whether we should count them.
However, one place they both find themselves in the same boat is regarding the recipient of the New Covenant.
Both agree that the New Covenant was given to the church today.
Both walk together in making the church of today the audience of the New Testament Hebrew epistles.
Both have no dispute over the idea that the church today is found in Revelation’s millennial kingdom in fulfillment of the New Covenant.
Both would be wrong.
Traditional covenant and dispensational positions have both struggled with confusion concerning the New Covenant.
We believe this confusion can be cleared up through mid-Acts dispensational right division. Learn how by attending next month’s Ambassadors Seminar: New Covenant Confusion.
