The church eating together is a perfect time to practice what we preach about communion.
We are one with each other in the body of Christ. We share a common goal to grow up into Christ. We have a common Saviour in the Lord Jesus Christ.
At Grace Ambassadors we come together to eat a few times each year. Our next supper will be March 17th.
Anyone in the area is invited to come out and eat with us in the communion of Christ.
There will be no magical turning wafers into flesh, or sad reflections about a thimble of grape juice.
Instead we will remember the gospel of Christ, the Lord’s death and resurrection, which obtained for us a communion with him and with each other.
We are his body, by our common faith in his shed blood on the cross (1 Cor 10:17). How tremendous it is to have fellowship with others who rejoice in the gospel.
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” – 1 Cor 10:31
