Have you ever left for a trip and had a haunting feeling that you left something behind or forgot to do something?
Then you know exactly what I will be feeling the next couple days.
We’re heading out for our summer traveling meetings, which will be Monday (Denver), Wednesday (Omaha), and Friday (Hudson, WI).
When the Lord takes us home, perhaps our kitchen lights will be left on, bills left unpaid, and doors left unlocked, but none of that will matter since we will be off to be with the Lord in glory.
We won’t take our riches, hobbies, or houses with us, but we can take with us the fruit of godliness: souls saved and saints edified.
“… godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, …” – 1 Timothy 4:8, 10
This is why church ministry is so important and why we are excited to meet the saints and do what we can to provide an example of rightly divided church ministry in those areas.
The word rightly divided increases godliness in you. Proper church ministry produces godliness in others. This is the sort of work that you won’t want to leave undone on the day of the biggest trip of your life: the one to heavenly places.
Until that day, join us in Colorado, Nebraska, or Wisconsin next week at our traveling meetings. Details below:

We will enjoy seeing you there or in the air!
“For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20
For Christ in You,
