GRACE AMBASSADORS

Students vs. Stewards

Our seminar is 3 weeks from today! The subject is Ministry of the Church.

One of the things we will communicate is the difference between a student and steward.

Students learn.

It is required in students to rightly divide the word of truth. If a student is going to understand the scripture, they must respect the progressive revelation and dispensational context.

We should all be students of the word of truth rightly divided.

Stewards administer.

They represent someone else in their responsibility to manage what they have been entrusted. They keep it from decay and ensure it remains profitable. Stewards have also been called ministers, managers, supervisors, ambassadors, or butlers.

You can see why it would be required in stewards to be faithful to the task (1 Cor 4:2).

Did you know that every saved member of Christ’s body is given stewardship? We are Christ’s ambassadors!

An important aspect of ministry is to learn not only to be a student of the word of God, but stewards of the word of God.

Learn more in our seminar the weekend of October 14th and 15th. Reserve your spot for free on the page below. We would love to see you there!
