Nativity Myths

My calendar is clearing up for the next couple weeks.
No one wants to schedule any meetings anywhere near these
“holy days”.

I am fine with that. It is a wonderful time to get ahead by doing
some much needed work for the website.

Throughout December homes all across the world have figurines
and pictures of what they think should be the most lauded event
of the year.

However, according to the Bible much of the glory and drama
that has become part of the nativity scene did not really happen.

Use the opportunity you have with family and friends to direct
them from the fabled glory of the cradle to the glorious truth
of the cross.

Here is a list of conversation starters.

“God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord
Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I
unto the world.” – Gal 6:14

Since under grace we are free from the required observance of
holy days (Col 2:16), we are now able to redeem the time to
minister the cross of the Lord Jesus.

For his glory,

Justin Curtis Johnson
