When a reference to a minor prophet is mentioned
in my lessons it is common to see folks struggling
to find the book. They are, after all, minor, and very
short.
Do you have trouble finding the minor prophets in
your Bible? Are you too proud to use the table of
contents at the beginning of your Bible?
Try this overlooked technique and be frustrated
no more! It has proven to work for Bible race experts
across the country. You don’t need to spend
hours practicing like the pros. You can do it now.
While most people turn to the middle of their Bible
when a minor prophet is barked at them they are
setting themselves up for an unneeded detour
through half of Psalms and the major prophets.
This can increase your verse look up time by tens of
seconds and will subject your ears to another lame
joke by your pastor while he waits for you.
Save your self the pain.
Here is the trick:
Open your Bible to Matthew first then go left.
You will comfortably find yourself smack dab in the
middle of books such as Malachi, Haggai, Zephaniah
and Nahum and in record time.
