GRACE AMBASSADORS

Faithful Stewards

This originally appeared as an email delivered on

The Bible is right, people are like grass. They come to
understand the truths of the gospel or right division, but
after a short season they quickly move on to some other
interest.

Their excitement is like fireworks that shine for a short
while, but are quickly gone.

It is easy to learn the basics of right division. It is harder
to remain faithful. That is why faithfulness more than
knowledge is one of the most desired attributes of
an ambassador of Christ.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be
found faithful” – 1 Cor 4:2

Don’t forget the importance of the message you have
learned. Remain faithful in prayer. Do the work of the
ministry, or support ministries that do.

You may not see results come as quickly, but
that is what it means to remain faithful. If you can
persist through good and bad, feast or famine, then
you are practicing faithfulness.

God has made you the steward of his mystery. You
are rare already. Being faithful makes you a even more
valuable for the Lord.

There is always a shortage of faithful people. If you are
looking to make an impact in the long term do this
one thing: be faithful.

For His glory,

Justin “sticking to it” Johnson
