Paul came out of the religion of Israel by the knowledge of Jesus Christ by revelation.
When he looked back, he did not mock, ridicule, and despise the religious men that he left behind.
He had a heart’s desire and prayer to God that they might be saved (Rom 10:1).
Learning the truth of God’s grace in Christ delivers you from the chains of religion.
Yet, instead of boasting in our liberty, we are told to mind others who are locked up and give them the key of deliverance through Christ.
We all were saved out of religion and from sin for the purpose of bringing others to a knowledge of the truth.
You may know how the Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, and Community churches are wrong, because you were once one of them. Paul bore record to such things, also (Rom 10:2-3).
Don’t let their ignorance be the object of your spite, but rather the subject of your prayers. There is a lot of work to do.
