GRACE AMBASSADORS

2017 Year in Review

At least once a year we stop and evaluate what we have done and the direction of our ministry to ensure we are on the right track.

Here is what we did at Grace Ambassadors in 2017.

215 new resources were added to the website including:
– 101 new articles or email tips
– 108 new Sunday and Tuesday lessons with MP3, video, and PDF outlines

Our Tuesday verse by verse studies took us through 1 Timothy, Ecclesiastes, and 30 lessons into Ephesians.

Our Sunday meetings covered topics such as creation/evolution, Messianic prophecies, Music and Worship, the Unforgivable Sin, the Remnant, and Spiritual Gifts.

We had many multi lesson sermon series this year including ‘Basic Dispensational Lessons’, ‘Luther’s 95 Theses’, ‘How to Make All Men See’, ‘Important Bible Events’, and recently ‘How to Know the Bible is God’s Word’.

In response to demand, Ambassadors Publishing produced its first DVD of the 2016 seminar.

These are all things you can find online, but there were many things that the internet cannot replicate such as the 52 Sunday question and answer sessions; the children’s classes; the communion meals; the conversations before, after, and between the teaching; and the working with one another in the body of Christ.

We had dozens of visitors and guests come out to meet us for the first time which is a joy without space here to describe.

Starting this year we implemented Saturday Ambassadors Workshops for folks in our assembly to take opportunity to put their study to work.

This took the form of a couple of group evangelism days knocking on doors and handing out tracts; two Bible study and lesson preparation workshops; and three days of pure effort to keep the ministry functioning.

Speaking of evangelism, we attended summer fairs in three separate counties and handed out thousands of tracts, balloons, and books.

For the ninth year running we held our Ambassadors Seminar. This year’s theme of The Reformation turned out to be one of our best so far (the DVD is coming in the new year).

All in all, it was a good year. We will continue to do what works, and stop doing what doesn’t.

Next year, it will be our privilige to do our part taking new opportunities to redeem the time, meet new people, preach Christ crucified according to the revelation of the mystery, and, by God’s grace, hear more testimonies of souls saved and saints edified.

Thank you for doing your part to redeem the time.

For Christ,

Justin “new year” Johnson
