God’s Provision and Hell

By Justin Johnson

No one has walked this earth perfectly except Jesus Christ. The rest of us are fatally flawed, filled with sin. Consequently no one has ever earned or deserved any sort of blessing from God.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

Fortunately God has made a provision for our sins by the blood of Jesus shed on our behalf. No one will be judged unrighteous who trusts in his blood; their faith will be counted for righteousness (Rom 4:5).

All who reject the payment of Jesus will answer for themselves at the judgment and will reap the consequences. No one will escape hell because of their good works, nor will they go to hell because God cannot forgive their bad works.

This has always been the case:

“…the just shall live by his faith.” – Hab 2:4

Even Israel under a conditional performance based merit system could not earn their salvation by their good works. They failed at keeping the law and it was for this reason God provided for them a sacrificial system of atonement.

It was not until Paul that the glorious mystery of the cross was revealed and we are told how all men at all times can be saved by the blood of the Son of God!

Although you may understand that sinners go to hell, you may not realize that there is no one good enough to go to heaven.

Man has always needed God’s provision for salvation and today he is offering you free justification through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus!

Sin is defeated. Now grace abounds through Christ. You will only go to hell if you reject the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. As an ambassador for Christ I beseech you be reconciled to God!

Put your faith in Christ’s provision alone and you will receive the gift of eternal life.
