Praise is a powerful tool. Men seek it.
God deserves it.
Don’t indiscriminately give it, but don’t ignore it.
Praise those things that are praiseworthy. Don’t know
any? Think about it (Phil 4:8).
You may find out that someone you have been talking to
has been growing in their understanding. Or perhaps
another has sidestepped the enemy because of their
use of God’s word rightly divided. Praiseworthy!
You may discover that God is to be praised most of
all for preserving the Bible you read each morning, for the
Spirit residing in us, or for the manifold wisdom of his
grace through Jesus Christ (Rom 16:25, Col 1:27).
Every soul that is saved by God’s grace is to the praise
of his glory (Eph 1:12).
With so much confusion and wrong doctrine it is easy
to forget to praise. Don’t forget Eph 1:6.
For his glory,
Justin “Praise Him” Johnson
