Paul used the phrase ‘stand fast’ more than six times in his writings epistles.
He uses it to encourage his audience to continue and persevere in the faith which he taught them.
This is also the purpose of this blog which is to motivate you to not only stand fast in the sound doctrine of the word of God rightly divided, but to motivate you to evangelize to the lost and ignorant.
Standing in the faith is easy to do in church or in Bible studies, but it is much harder when we go back to our daily grind and encounters with the concerns of this side of eternity.
This is where we need to stand fast to the faith and to keep our eyes set on things above. Keep pressing on.
