We follow Paul’s pattern in ministry and in receiving gifts for ministry.
Paul never asked for money to do his own ministry for the Lord. (When he did ask for money, it was for others 2 Cor 8-9, Rom 15:26.) Paul never begged or required money so that the gospel would not be hindered, so neither do we (1 Cor 9:12). Though he never asked, he did receive gifts when they were the product of grace doctrine working in the giver:
“Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.” – Phil 4:17.
Unlike some mega-ministries and prosperity panderers, we have no grand plans for retiring on a beach doing “missionary work” with your money.
It would be a greater blessing to see you grow in the knowledge of the truth and start serving the Lord with your own ministry.
“The things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2
We do not desire your gold, but your service to the Lord with the right heart, speaking the right message, and that from the right Bible, rightly divided (Acts 20:33-35).
If you’ve been duped by so-called ministries that promise you a blessing if you give money or tithe to your local church, then please stop now!
If you have purposed in your heart to give graciously to our ministry, please continue in the spirit of 2 Cor 9:7, Phil 4:17-18.
